Reasons, speed and smaller size for portability. Good ratings, and a backlit keyboard which is the coolest thing I never knew I wanted. The screen is plenty big enough and the 4lb weight is easy to lug if I need to carry it out. Thankful to the board and the Reynoldson fund for technology purchases.
