The Triune God

This is a view of the Resort in Princeville, Kauai from the air. Looking forward in a few weeks to passing by there on the way to Ke'e Beach.

Christian Theology is trinitarian theology. The New Covenant reveals God in relation with Himself, Father, Son, Spirit. Trying to intellectually understand this dynamic eternal relationship is not possible with the what we currently possess. We see the description and we grasp the unity and diversity of the Godhead, but only dimly. We pray the trinitarian formula, to the Father, through the Son, by the Spirit.

Christian Theology is incarnational theology. The entrance of God the Son in the flesh is extremely key to understanding the gospel. Not the gospel that basically has us going to two destinies based on our living response to Christ's coming, but the deep truths revealed in Ephesians 1 about our pre destiny. About God's intention to gather up everything to Himself, things in heaven and on earth and under the earth, to become all in all. That is my goal in this post script series on the image of God in man.
